Raja Ranjit Kishore Govt. polytechnic is a newly established (Estd. 2014) polytechnic under the Department of Technical Education and Training, Govt. of West Bengal. The polytechnic is affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development and is approved by AICTE. It is a great initiative of the government to promote technical education in the state especially in Jangalmahal areas. The institution offers 3 Year diploma courses in the branches of Computer Science and Technology (Dimploma in CST), Electrical Engineering (Diploma in EE) and Mechanical Engineering (Diploma in ME) with an approved intake of 60 in each branch. The polytechnic has almost all wonderful infrastructural facilities like WiFi campus, excellent Computer labs, Smart Classrooms, Playground etc.
All educational infrastructure of Raja Ranjit Kishore Govt. Polytechnic is magnificent with a strong teaching team and also non-teaching staffs are very much student friendly ,as a whole a perfect teaching learning atmosphere exists here. After starting the journey in 2014, 1st batch passed out in the year of 2017.From 2017-2019 passed out students got their jobs at Railways,IOCL Haldia,Centrum Electronics Pvt Ltd and many others reputed companies and many students got the chances of higher studies in Jadavpur University,Kalyani University,Jalpaiguri Govt Engineering College,IEM Saltlake and other pronounced institutes through JELET. All the stakeholders are utmost working to pay respect and honour to the decision of the Department and the Directorate. The team RRKGP is trying their level best to improve the teaching learning environment more effective for our students.
