Raja Ranjit Kishore Govt Polytechnic is a fully developed, modern, Govt. Polytechnic under the Department of Technical Education, Training and Skill Development, Govt of West Bengal.It started its journey as a full fledged Polytechnic in the academic session 2014-15. The Department of Technical Education, Training and Skill Development, Govt. of West Bengal and the Directorate have taken very good care to develop and operate this institute towards public service and development of Jungle Mahal Area. Honourable Chief Minister of West Bengal laid down the foundation stone of Raja Ranjit Kishore Govt Polytechnic on 6th june 2011 and immediately the work started .AICTEvisited the institute three times in 2013 and finally in 2014 Raja Ranjit Kishore Govt Polytechnic got the approval.In 2014 the institute started with DEE and DCST department and from 2018 DME was also started here.
