WELCOME TO OUR INSTITUTE Haji Md. Serafat Mondal Govt. Polytechnic college (Formerly known as Rampurhat Govt. Polytechnic college) is a Diploma level Polytechnic college of Govt. of West Bengal approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) ,New Delhi and affiliated by West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCT and VE and SD).Our Institution started functioning from the year 2015 with 44 students on roll. Today we are having a strength of 360 students. The institute is offering 3 years diploma courses in the branch of Civil, Survey and Electrical Engineering.

Our Institution started functioning from the session 2015-16 with 44 nos. of students on roll at MBC Institute of Technology, Burdwan. Today we are having strength of 543 students. It is interesting to observe how a student develops from first to third year, putting his/her effort in learning their respective branch of engineering subjects. I am sure, Institution and Industry house will be benefitted immensely by students of this polytechnic and each of them will prove as an asset to any concern which he/she may happen to join in future. As a member of HMSM Govt. Polytechnic, I am absolutely certain to create an ideal academic environment of our esteemed Institution. To be an up-graded institution with efficient, dedicated and student friendly staff, we are providing brilliant engineers from our institution for for the rapid development of our nation. The Institute aims at all round development of a student and to produce able technocrats to meet the challenges of the competitive world. I wish all the best and admirable success to the institute and I strongly believe that our beloved HMSM Govt. Polytechnic will prosper in days to come.
