Maynaguri Government Polytechnic started its journey in 2015 with two discipline Instrumentation and Control Engg and Survey Engg. In the beginning due to lack of infrastructure, journey was started from Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute. Later on  Maynaguri Government Polytechnic gained autonomy with the establishment of its own building and infrastructure. Later on in 2018 Civil Engg has also been introduced in this institute.
The quality of education provided by us, the working staff of Maynaguri Government Polytechnic, is getting better and better day by day. Besides helping them to acquire technical knowledge, we also lend them a helping hand in proper development of their character in synchronisation with our social environment.
