Gangarampur Govt. Polytechnic is the first institute of its kind of the district Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal . It is established in the year 2013 and academic activities had started in the academic session 2013-2014. It is under the control of the Department of Technical Education, Training and Skill Development, Govt. of West Bengal and affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational   Education and Skill Development. This institute is presently offering the diploma courses in Civil Engineering & Mechanical Engineering and both the courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
