The Institute offers AICTE approved three years full time Diploma programs in the discipline of Engineering and Technology: Computer Software Technology, Food Processing Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology.  
These programs are affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical, Vocational Education and Skill Development erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, kolkata, a Statutory body under Govt. of West Bengal.

The State Council acts as apex academic authority regarding all academic matters such as 
 
(a) Design of Curriculum structure and syllabus.
(b) Academic calendar, 
(c) Admission rules and procedures, 
(d) Admission of students, 
(e) Registration of candidates, 
(f) Conduction of End Semester Examination and students evaluation.
(g) Certification of Diploma etc.

Institute also has a committee called Academic Council, comprising faculty members of Institute to look after academic related activities in the Institute. Academic council is headed by Principal/ Officer-in-Charge as Chairman and one of the faculties acts as Secretary, while remaining faculties are valuable members.
