The Institute offers following Diploma courses:
Mechanical Engineering
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Electrical Engineering
 Metallurgical Engineering
All courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education with an intake capacity of 60 students in each stream.
All courses are of 3 Years duration consisting of 6(Six) Semesters.
Institute students can avail various scholarship facilities 
At the end of each semester, examinations are conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development.
Student admission is done through JEXPO qualifying examination or through VOCLET examination
The Institute also acts as District Nodal Centre to control vocational education of the entire Howrah District.
