Canning Government Polytechnic is a new government polytechnic at Narayanpur village (Middle of Sonarpur and Canning town).It is mainly located in pollution free, eco-friendly environment of Canning-II block. The institute was started 1st august 2019 with three branches of diploma in engineering i.e. Computer Science and Technology, Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy with total 100 numbers of students.
