With the growing demand of technical manpower and enhanced policies of the government for spreading out quality technical education,TUFANGANJ GOVT. POLYTECHNIC is established in the year -2012 by GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL and starts its academic journey from session 2014-2015 with two diploma courses in SURVEY ENGINEERING AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. The second polytechnic in the district of COOCH BEHAR is situated in a pleasant rural area well connected with all parts of country.It creates a noticeable prestigious position in the field of quality technical education in WEST BENGAL within this short period of time through its placement in industries as well as in higher education.Another feather namely DIPLOMA IN CIVIL ENGINEERING is added in the year -2018. This developing institute is flying rapidly with a target of country-wide fame in the ever changing field of technical education for socio economic upliftment.
Tufanganj Government Polytechnic, establishing in the year of 2012, has created a prestigious position among all the Government Polytechnics in the state of West Bengal developing the modernized laboratories, well equipped Workshops, spacious library and excellent campus. We have both the Boys amp Girls Hostels for the students coming from remote most corners of the state and besides a well maintained play ground, a Mini Indoor Stadium has also been set up to make the students health conscious. We have a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculties who are devoted to achieve excellence in the every activity of the Institute.
