Purulia Polytechnic is one of the oldest Polytechnic in the country established in 1957 and is involved in providing quality technical education since its inception. Spread across a lush green 35 acres of campus located in the outskirts of Purulia town at Bongabari beside SH-5 and just 3 km away from Purulia station, this serene surrounding provides an excellent ambiance for education which is well connected with railways and roadways. The contributions made by this institute in more than six decades in the field of technical education and skill development is praiseworthy. We are functioning under the administrative control of Department of Technical Education Training and Skill Development , Govt. of West Bengal. It is affiliated to WBSCTVESD, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
