Ranaghat Government Polytechnic, is a comparatively new government polytechnic located in Ranaghat, Nadia district, West Bengal. This polytechnic is affiliated to the W.B.S.C.T&V.E&SD and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.This college was set up in the year 2016.Initially, during session 2016-17 classes of this institute started in mentor polytechnic but from academic session 2017-2018 classes started  at its own campus at Ranaghat .First batch of this college  passed out in the session 2019-2020.This institute offers Diploma in Engineering courses in Electrical , Mechanical  and Automobile Engg with intake capacity of 60 students in each course.
