Mirik Government Polytechnic has been established in Mirik Sub-division of Darjeeling District of West Bengal in the year of 2018. Mirik is a famous tourist destination for its climate, natural environment and easy accessibility from Siliguri as well as from Darjeeling and Kurseong. This Polytechnic is situated at an altitude of 1570 metre (from MSL), surrounded by enchanting tea garden of Thorbu tea estate and it is about 5 km away from Mirik Lake.
