Malda Polytechnic is a Govt. Polytechnic and affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This is the Oldest Govt. Polytechnic Institute of Malda District. The Institute was established in the year 1962 and initially ran as a sponsored institute until it was taken over by the Govt. of West Bengal in 1975.
