Bankura Govt. Polytechnic is situated at Kalpathar, which is seventeen (17 KM) from Bankura town. It is situated on the road of Bankura-Purulia via Pohabagan. Pohabagan is the new educational hub of Bankura District. Our main thrust is to develop the skill of the student as per the International Industries. Such that they can cope up with heavy Industries, Medium Industries, Small Industries, Service Sector & I.T Sector. Side by side our aims also is to generate new method of thinking in handicraft section of the District such that they can do value addition in this Handicraft industries so that they will be viable in the International market. Our College has affiliated from AICTE in the branch of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering in the year 2012. Our College is equipped with modern Machining, Library and with a modern thinking.
