Medinipur Sadar Govt. Polytechnic started its journey with three core diploma engineering courses including Mechanical Engineering. Equipped with efficient faculty members, laboratories with modern equipment, workshop with required machinery, this department is confident towards preparing future nation builders. Faculties of this department constantly encourage students’ curiosity to make them self-learner. In an average 75% students of this department get placed among different mechanical industries pan India and many opt for higher studies at renowned institutions. The department frequently organizes various Industrial visits, Seminars and Workshops for students to bridge the gap between industry and academia. With arrangement of motivational talk, mentorship we always try to make our student future ready for the socio-economic development of this nation without losing ethical values.
