The Department of Pharmacy in Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic was established in the year 1995 with the goal of imparting Diploma in Pharmacy education for the first time under the Department of Technical Education & Training, Govt. of West Bengal. The Department alumni are well placed as Retail Pharmacists, Hospital Pharmacists (Both Govt. and Private),Production Pharmacists(In leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing companies),Entrepreneurs and Pharmacy Educators in the state as well as in the country. The Department has 7 experienced full time faculties and one supporting staff.
