The Department of Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering of Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute is approved by the AICTE and affiliated to the WBSCTandVE&SD with an intake capacity of 60. The main strength of our department is its highly educated and experienced faculty and staff members whose available diversity of knowledge with the technical support and assistants enables the students to work and sustain in this modern word of ever-increasing demand of engineering and technologies. ETCE has well-equipped laboratories such as Analog and Digital Electronics Laboratory, Analog, Digital and Microwave Communication Laboratory, Microcontroller and Embedded Systems Laboratory, Comsumes Electronics Laboratory, Computer Programming and Networking Laboratory to name a few that are used to provide ample opportunities for the students to learn and upgrade their technical expertise. Department of ETCE organizes and engages our students in different co-curricular activities apart from their regular academic for their holistic development. The department assures to provide a healthy and strong platform to the students for developing their analytical and practical skills to utilize in real world problems. Our department facilitates regular internship and industrial training sessions through various industries and experts. Apart from these we continuously encourage our students to work on different groups for real time application based ideas and projects.
