The Department of Electrical Engineering is one of the pioneering departments of Gaighata Government Polytechnic. It was established at the inception of the institute in the year 2017. Over the years, since then, the Department has progressed with considerable development in its infrastructure, both in terms of its faculty and the other learning facilities. The Department has produced professionals who are engaged in the different arena of industry at different capacity. The Department offers a three-year Diploma course in Electrical Engineering. Every year, a batch of 60 qualified professionals with high ethical values; pass out from here to take part in the development of the society and nation building. The Department is known for its reputed and well qualified faculty having experience in diverse fields. The faculty is supported with well-equipped laboratories and workshops. The faculty strives their level best in imparting the required technical knowledge.
