Academic Council is the highest body looking after all the academic matters of the institute. The Academic Council is headed by the chairman (Ex-officio Principal) and there is a Secretary who is looking after the works of the council. All teaching staff are the members of this council which meets at least 4 times in a year to discuss important issues. 
Apart from  basic academic facilities such as Class Rooms and Laboratories, the institute has the following modern facilities to enhance academic environment :
-Computing facilities for all students.
-Well equipped engineering Workshops 
-The Institute has a fully decorated and equipped Seminar Hall to conduct  seminar,  
  workshops, etc. with the capacity of 50 people.
-Well equipped modern Smart Classes.
-Language Laboratories.
