All three departments of Hilli GovernmentPolytechnic viz. Civil, Electrical and Mechanical impart teaching in accordance with the curricular structure and syllebi of West Bengal State council of Tecnical & Vocational Education & skill development.Three year Diploma course is divided in Six Semester.Diploma programme of each department shall consist of  curricular component comprising corses in General studies like Communication skill, Management studies, Economics & Accountancy, Computer application etc. Applied Science , Basic course in Engineering and Department specific subject.
