Welcome to Murshidabad Institute of Technology.Murshidabad Institute of Technology was founded on 26th August 1957 by the then Chief Minister Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy and reclaimed to be the -MIT of the East. The institute is AICTE approved and is under West Bengal Council of Technical Education. With two new streams added in the yr. 2008 and 2009 (Electronics and Instrumentation and Agricultural Engineering respectively) at present total 5 streams are continuing with intake capacity number 60. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Diploma in Electrical Engineering Diploma in Civil Engineering Diploma in Agricultural Engineering Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering The Institute along with academic activities are also involved with projects like Community Polytechnic, Arsenic Project , Vocational Education, other social activities, thus improving the socio economic life of the people.
