ENGINEERING INSTITUTE FOR JUNIOR EXECUTIVE is a Diploma level Government polytechnic in Howrah District , affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development. The polytechnic is situated near Howrah Dumurjola Stadium, which is three km from Howrah Railway Station and two km from Vidyasagar Setu. It is well connected by buses and trains. The Institute offers following Diploma courses Mechanical Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Electrical Engineering Metallurgical Engineering All courses are duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education with intake capacity of sixty students in each stream. Student admission is done through JEXPO qualifying examination or through VOCLET examination. The Institute also acts as District Nodal Centre to control vocational education of the entire Howrah District .
The institute was established in the year 1969, and since then it continues to cater diploma level engineers of high quality, matching with the industry needs. With a pool of highly qualified and experienced faculties, we are focussed to our goal to impart necessary expertise on technology to our students following the recommended course curriculum thoroughly, and also groom them towards building the capacity to absorb the new change of technology, so that, they can easily adapt to the rapidly changing industrial scenario.
