Birla Institute of Technology is a purely Government Institute. It has been established in the year of 1958 as a polytechnic approved by Govt. of West Bengal and Philanthropist industrialist Mr.B.M.Birla with a vision to be recognized as a World class learning institution for Engineering and Technology by providing the highest-quality academic programmers that makes student development faster and connects knowledge, practice and outstanding scholarly research.
